The Yakoob Biscuit Factory
The Yakoob Biscuit Factory, situated on Shikarpur Road, is the oldest and biggest biscuit factory in Sukkur Division. It was established in 1937 by a Hindu, when it functioned under the name of J.B. Mangharam Biscuit Factory. After partition, the factory was declared evacuee property and was allotted to Muhammad Yakoob; he later acquired ownership and changed the name.
