     After appointing Governors in all the principal districts of Sindh, Muhammad Bin Qasim left Brahman Abad on 3rd Muharram (AH 711) and proceeded towards Alore where Fofi, the son of Raja Dahir, had fortified his position. Muhammad Bin Qasim called his forces to a halt opposite the fort, where he also built a Mosque, the portion of which still stands on the top of a hill at the very site of Arore.
